What makes this worth watching, if anything, is simply how fresh the slate is. At seven years old with just a single outing behind it, Are You There is something of a late starter, and one race tells you almost nothing about what a horse is or isn't capable of. That debut run, just a day ago, is still barely cold.
The horse is trained by T M Walsh out of Kill in County Kildare, a yard that has sent out six winners already this season. That is a stable that knows how to get a horse ready to win, which at least suggests Are You There is in capable hands. Whether this horse will add to that tally is, for now, an open question with very little evidence to answer it.
