At distances of a mile and a furlong to a mile and two furlongs, it has won 1 of its 5 races (20%), which is actually a reasonable return and suggests it has a genuine chance every time it lines up at that sort of trip. The issue isn't ability — it's that something keeps getting in the way of the breakthrough.

The horse races most often at Class 5 level, which is the bread-and-butter tier of British racing rather than the glamour end of the sport.
