Aquila d'Oro

Aquila D'oro is a two-year-old still finding its feet in racing. It made its debut just a day ago and finished tenth — a common result for a horse making its first appearance on a racecourse. First runs are rarely smooth, and the young horse will learn plenty from the experience. Trained by Oliver Cole at Whatcombe in Oxfordshire, it joins a yard that has already sent out eight winners this season, suggesting it has decent support behind it. Whether Aquila D'oro develops into a racehorse of note will become clearer over the coming weeks and months as it gains more race experience.
