Trained by Michael Barry, whose yard has sent out just one winner this season, Another Blunder is operating in a setup that is not exactly overflowing with momentum right now. That is not a condemnation — small yards can and do produce good horses — but it does mean there is limited evidence to suggest a turnaround is imminent.
What makes this horse worth watching, in a curious sort of way, is that it raced just yesterday and is clearly still being given opportunities. At some point, patience runs out and decisions get made. For now, though, Another Blunder remains in active training, which means the yard — sorry, the team — still believe there is something worth persisting with. Whether that faith is rewarded remains to be seen. Zero wins and zero places from four races is a blank scorecard, and the name, it turns out, is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
