Annual Invitation

Trained by Christian Williams at Ogmore-By-Sea in Glamorgan, Annual Invitation is part of a yard that has been in good form this season, with 25 winners already to its name. That said, every horse in training goes through spells without winning, and some never do — the sport simply doesn't work that way for every animal. At this stage, the question for Williams and his team will be whether Annual Invitation's modest performances point to a horse that needs time to develop, a change of tactics, or simply one that may not be cut out for racing. With the horse still active and racing regularly, there is still opportunity to find the answer.
