Anahona

Anahona is a 2-year-old still finding its feet on the track. The horse has run once so far and finished fifth, which is hardly unusual for a young racehorse in its first outing — plenty of decent horses need time to settle into racing before they start winning. It is trained by Simon and Ed Crisford at their Newmarket yard, which has been in excellent form this season, sending out 78 winners. The Crisfords know what they are doing, and a single run tells you almost nothing about what Anahona might become. With racing so fresh and only one race under its belt, there is plenty of time for improvement.
