That is a solid level for a consistent, dependable horse, and nothing here suggests he is being over-faced or mishandled. The trainer's plan — keep him on good ground, keep him racing, and maybe go chasing when the time is right — sounds sensible. American Land is a horse doing exactly what he is good at, and at eight years old, there may still be more to come.
