He won most recently at that track on 4 June, which is now sixteen months in the past, but it proves he knows how to handle the place. With jockey Brendan Powell, who has ridden him in four victories from fifteen races together, American Land has a 27% win rate—better than his career average—suggesting the pair have a good working relationship. In Class 4 races, where he typically competes, he wins roughly one in every four outings.

Tizzard, who has sent out fifty-two winners from his yard this season, has previously highlighted American Land's potential as a summer horse with stamina to spare, and has hinted at the possibility of trying him over fences down the line.
