That kind of turnaround — from the back of the field to the winner's enclosure in two runs — suggests something changed, whether that's a trip that suited, a track that clicked, or simply a young horse starting to mature at the right moment.

That Musselburgh win came over a distance between seven furlongs and a mile, which is where Amantha clearly does her best work.
