Along The Way
Six races, no wins, no places — Along The Way has yet to give its supporters much to shout about. The 6-year-old has been competitive enough to finish fourth on one occasion, but has otherwise struggled to land a meaningful blow, with finishes of sixth, tenth, seventh, and eighth making up the bulk of the record. That run of results, spread across a full career, tells a story of a horse that keeps showing up but hasn't quite found its moment yet.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by Eddie and Patrick Harty out of their yard in Curragh, Co Kildare, Along The Way is at least in capable hands. The operation has sent out 17 winners already this season, which suggests there is plenty of ability flowing through the yard — this horse just hasn't tapped into it yet. Having raced as recently as 26 days ago, Along The Way remains active and presumably the team still believe there is a performance in there worth waiting for.
Whether that belief is rewarded remains to be seen. A zero-from-six record at age 6 is a tough ledger to turn around, but horses can surprise you, and with a yard running at that kind of form this season, the support and expertise are certainly there.
