Alnofoor

Trained by Ms Claire O'Connell at Ashbourne in County Meath, Alnofoor has been part of a yard that has found its way into the winner's circle four times this season — modest numbers that suggest a small operation working with modest horses. The animal's first career win came at Navan on 30 March 2026, establishing itself as capable of racing and winning at a particular level. But the gap between that April success and the present day hints at the real story: Alnofoor has become harder to get into the frame. Of its last six races, only two have resulted in wins, with the others scattered between third, first, and two eighth-place finishes. The most recent run suggests the horse may be hitting a difficult patch, though at eight years old and still racing, there is time yet to add to the tally.
