Before that, Almuhit won a Class 2 race at Newbury in July 2025, one of the top races in Britain, which is the kind of result that confirms this horse belongs at a decent level. The career started with a first win at Haydock Park back in May 2022, so there's real experience accumulated here across more than four years of racing.

Ground conditions clearly matter. On normal ground, Almuhit wins 1 in every 4 races — 3 wins from 12 attempts — and the same 25% rate holds on fast, dry ground too, with 2 wins from 8 races. Those numbers are genuinely strong. A horse winning 1 in 4 on its preferred surface is the sort of figure that makes trainers and punters pay attention. The best distance appears to be the middle ground of 1 mile 3 furlongs to 1 mile 4 furlongs, where again the record shows 1 win from 4 races at a 25% clip.

Faye Bramley trains Almuhit out of Lambourn in Berkshire, and the yard has had 17 winners already this season — a productive operation that clearly knows how to place its horses well. Regular jockey Isabelle Ryder hasn't yet broken through for a win across six rides together, but with Almuhit having raced just one day ago and still clearly in form, the partnership has plenty of time to change that.
