Alfresco

Alfresco is a two-year-old trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien at Ballyroe in County Tipperary. The horse raced for the first time just a day ago and finished without placing. With only that single outing to his name, there is little to say yet about what Alfresco might become — but the fact that he is already back in training suggests the yard believes there is something worth developing. O'Brien's stable has been in fine form this season, sending out 31 winners so far, so the young horse is at least in a yard where things are happening.
