Alfredo Delgado is a 2-year-old who has run twice without finishing in the top three yet. The horse raced just a day ago, finishing ninth, and before that eighth. Trained by
E McNamara at Rathkeale in County Limerick, the yard has built a solid season with 22 winners, so there is experience and form in the stable. Alfredo Delgado is still very much a work in progress at this early stage of his career, and like many young horses, will need time to find his feet on the track.
