Al Lahbab is a two-year-old still finding its feet on the track. The horse made its debut just a day ago and finished second, a respectable introduction to racing. Trained by
Charlie Appleby at Newmarket, it joins one of Britain's most successful yards — Appleby has already sent out 121 winners this season, so Al Lahbab has every advantage in its corner as it learns the ropes. For a first-time runner, a top-three finish is a solid foundation, and there will be plenty of races ahead to build on it.
