Afif

Afif is a 2-year-old still finding its way in racing, having made a single appearance without hitting the mark. The horse finished fourth in its most recent outing just a day ago, suggesting the yard is moving quickly to give it another chance soon. Trained by John and Thady Gosden at their Newmarket base — one of Britain's most successful racing operations, with 140 winners already this season — Afif is in the hands of people who know exactly how to develop young horses into winners. The Gosden yard's track record means this early setback is unlikely to be the end of the story.
