Ada Rose

Her recent sequence of 9-3-7-6-13 tells an interesting story. That third-place finish stands out as the peak so far, but the results either side of it are patchy, including a thirteenth which suggests she has days where things don't click. She raced just yesterday, so she is very much a horse in the thick of an active campaign, and there may well be more to come from her as the season develops.

She is trained by Kevin Philippart De Foy at Newmarket, one of the most famous training centres in the world and the heartbeat of British flat racing. His yard has sent out 40 winners this season alone, which tells you this is a competitive, well-resourced operation that knows how to get horses to perform. Being part of a setup firing at that level means Ada Rose is in good hands — when her moment comes, she will have every chance of being ready for it.
