The first of those victories came at Leicester in November 2024, followed by a more recent success at Fontwell Park in March this year. Since that Fontwell win, however, Activist has been unable to break through again across six subsequent races, most recently finishing fourth and fifth in its last two outings. It remains active and was last seen 30 days ago, suggesting the yard is still searching for the right opportunity to click once more.

Jack Tudor has ridden Activist more than anyone else, winning twice from 15 races together — a 13% win rate that outpaces the horse's overall record. David Pipe's Somerset yard, which has sent out 35 winners this season, tends to run Activist at Class 4 level, though the numbers here tell a sobering story: just 1 win from 12 races at that grade. The horse seems to perform best over longer distances between a mile and six furlongs and two miles, having won once from five races at that trip. What Activist needs now is a return to soft ground at the right sort of race — conditions that have historically transformed it from a plodding also-ran into something genuinely competitive.
