The wins came in quick succession in the autumn of 2024. The first arrived at Sandown Park in September, and then Accredit backed it up with another victory at Haydock Park the following month. Two different tracks, two wins — that is not luck, that is a horse that turns up and delivers. The Gosden operation is one of the most respected yards in Britain, having sent out 136 winners this season alone, so when a three-year-old catches their attention and performs like this, it tends to mean something.

The one thing worth flagging is that Accredit has not raced for around five months. That is a meaningful absence, and horses can come back from a long break in varying shape. The Gosdens know how to manage a talented young horse, and this could simply be a carefully planned winter rest before a bigger campaign — but first-time-back form is always worth watching. The fact that all three races have come at Class 4 level also leaves the question open: is this a horse that belongs in better company? Two wins from three races at that level, winning roughly 2 in every 3 times out, suggests there is every reason to find out.
