Ablon

The recent form tells a fairly consistent story: a second place is the highlight, sandwiched between a string of fifth-place finishes, with two runs where no position was recorded — likely non-completions or early exits of some kind. At the level Ablon typically competes at, Class 4, the results have been the same: no wins from three races at that grade. That is not catastrophic — plenty of horses take time to find their feet — but it does mean Ablon is yet to show the team anything to suggest a breakthrough is imminent.

What keeps things interesting is the sheer activity. Racing just yesterday and with six races already banked, Ablon is clearly considered fit and ready enough to keep running. Hannon's yard does not waste entries on horses going nowhere, so there is presumably something they like about this horse — whether that is a specific type of ground, a particular trip, or simply the belief that a win is coming. Whether Ablon can convert that faith into a first victory remains the question.
