The sire, Ten Sovereigns, was one of the fastest horses in Europe over short distances, and he tends to pass that on. The mother's side brings in Gleneagles, a horse who had more class and versatility. That combination could produce something quick enough to win early in the season over a sprint, but with enough quality to step up in distance later on. Whether any of that potential translates to the track is something only racing will answer.
For now, 00glencross is a blank page. The debut will tell us everything.
